Arrival & access

When can we check in and out?

Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out is at 10 AM. Most stays are a minimum of two nights (some dates need three; the calendar shows the minimum for your dates) and a maximum of 29 nights.

How do we get inside?

Each home has a private entrance with a smart lock and a unique code. Access instructions are sent by text and email after the pre-arrival steps are complete. The exact address is shared after booking.

Where do we park?

The three homes have 5 parking spots in total: Crossing House 2 (one covered with the EV charger and one gravel spot behind it), Cozy Cottage 2 (gravel, on the left side of the driveway) and Magnolia Mini 1 (on the concrete pad at the back of the property, at the end of the cul-de-sac). There's no street parking; extra cars can use the free public parking downtown. Exact details are shared after booking.

The homes

How many people can stay?

Crossing House sleeps eight, Cozy Cottage sleeps six and Magnolia Mini sleeps three. Booking Crossing Collective accommodates up to 17 across all three private homes. Do not exceed your booked occupancy at any time.

Is the backyard private?

Each home has its own private indoor space and outdoor seating. The fire-pit yard and hammock are shared with the other two homes. Booking Crossing Collective gives your group the whole lot to yourselves.

Will we hear trains?

Trains pass through the historic downtown, about three houses away. You may hear them during your stay; sound machines are provided in every bedroom.

What supplies and entertainment are provided?

Every home is replenished before arrival with toiletries, paper supplies, cleaning and laundry supplies, K-cups, tea, olive oil and basic spices, stocked for up to seven days. Please purchase any additional supplies needed after that. Each home has an Amazon Fire TV without cable: Crossing House has a 75-inch TV in the living room and a 55-inch TV in the bedroom, and Cozy Cottage and Magnolia Mini each have a 60-inch TV. Sign in with your own streaming accounts; accounts are logged out after departure.

Is Crossing Collective accessible for my needs?

Accessibility varies by home. The cottage and tiny home have lighted gravel access paths, and Magnolia Mini is not wheelchair accessible. Contact the hosts to discuss steps, doors and bathroom access before booking; do not assume a step-free route.

Are children welcome?

Yes, families with children are welcome. A pack n’ play, a high chair and kids’ dishes are available on request; just mention it when you book. The Magnolia Mini is compact and better suited to couples than to small kids.

Groups & weddings

Can we stay here for a wedding weekend?

Wedding weekends can fill early. Check your dates in the live calendar now, or send the hosts your dates and headcount to talk them through.

Can you help us choose homes?
